feeling better

Today Noah woke up feeling so much better – he slept completely through the night (we really did NOT expect this) and his temperature was down to 99.1 in the morning.  He was all smiles during the day and seemed back to his usual self – arms flapping, rolling everywhere, and super squirmy when held!  He took two solid naps (1.5 – 2 hours each), but then got fussier as the day went on.  Didn’t really drink much of his bottles (3 – 3.5 oz), but did eat a bunch of solids at breakfast and lunch.  He sneezed a bunch, shot some snot rockets out, and seemed snotty overall.  He absolutely despises getting his nose wiped and when I suck the snot out he screams and kicks his feet.  My friend’s 7 month old son laughs every time she uses it on him and my son reacts like it’s pure torture!  I checked his temperature again before we put him down for the night and it was 99.4.  We gave him another round of Tylenol as a precaution.  Also slipped in two teething tablets because we still aren’t sure why he’s being fussy about eating!  Let’s hope he sleeps the night again and wakes up with just the remnants of this annoying cold!
