Our not-so-much-a-baby-anymore is getting his first molars in – both sides, both top and bottom.  This could explain his terrible sleep and eating patterns lately!  There was a good week or two where he just stopped eating solid food – instead opted for pureed food, pouches, jars, oatmeals…all spoon fed.  I really cannot wait until this little man can communicate with us and tell us what is bothering him so we don’t have to guess!  I also cannot wait until all of his teeth finish breaking through.  We haven’t had to deal with any teething issues since late January and completely forgot how much it throws a wrench into everything.  You think things are going great and then BAM – teething – and then your child is no longer sleeping through the night AND being an even more finicky eater than usual.  I feel for the parents of Noah’s friends with only two teeth so far – maybe I’m wrong, but it seemed more painful for him at this age than when he was teething at 6 months.  But who really knows what it feels like to have 4 molars break through your gums at once??  By the way, do we have to start brushing these teeth??  That will be a sight to see.
