No more itchy armpits (thank god). Feeling kicks now instead of just flutters. Pete felt the baby move for the first time last weekend – so cool! Definitely feeling some pain in my hips, pelvis, legs – not sure if this is what they call round ligament or sciatica pain? Seeing the OB tomorrow and will ask about it.
I saw my PCP in January and he said that my liver function tests came back slighly elevated – have to get blood drawn again and discuss with the OB tomorrow about that. Also experienced light spotting/brown discharge last night and into this morning – first time since very beginning of pregnancy so I’m a little nervous. I called the nurse and she said it sounds okay as long as it isn’t a lot of bright red blood accompanied by cramping.
Started doing yoga twice a week beginning of February and love it – still trying to run/walk a couple times a week as well. Running is definitely feeling more difficult of late with the extra weight and aforementioned leg/hip pain. Yoga is helping with the pain.
Hungry all the time, eating like every 1-2 hours it feels. Will be interesting to see what I weigh tomorrow. Have a legit bump now! Hopefully not gaining too much weight too quickly.
Sleeping solely on my side with pillow between my legs. Not getting up to pee at all during the night so that is good.
No food aversions or weird cravings yet. I did eat pancakes with an egg on top with syrup and Pete thinks that was a craving. I crave sweets and junk food all the time (ice cream, mini eggs, cookies, etc.) which makes me think I’m having a boy.
Saw a cardiac doctor earlier this month to ask about PAT and any heart issues relating to pregnancy – they said all looks good and that I don’t ever have to come back to see them unless I experience symptoms. We went ahead and scheduled an appointment in October after baby arrives which I can either go to or cancel depending on how I feel.
That’s it for now, will report back soon!
