weight check

I went in to the pediatrician’s office today for a weight check and Noah was 11 lbs 11.5 oz which was a 5.4 oz weight gain since last Friday.  The doctor said that was very good.  We go back for another weight check in two weeks.  He said he didn’t want us to get too hung up on numbers and percentiles and just wants to make sure Noah gains consistently on an upward curve.  He knows that we rented a baby scale and advised not to weigh him every day since it will drive us crazy (he’s right, it will).  I’ll settle for a weigh in every few days… we’ll see if I can resist the temptation!
